December 2019 Newsletter
Parent Council Wishes the very best to
you and yours this Holiday Season.
We Look forward to seeing everyone in 2020!
Parent Council continues to be busy working on ways we can join together as a community. This year we have begun to have a Dinner Night, where we head out to enjoy a meal, and when we get there, the school community has come together and created an extended family meal.
Watch for more nights to come! If you have a restaurant that has both take out and dine-in that you would like to see on our list please pass it along to annettestps@gmail.com
One of our School council goals is to enhance the school community and so we have some exciting movie nights, a Read-A-Thon and BookSwap coming up, as well as STEM night April 16th; and don't forget our Annual Amazing Fun-Fair.
This year at the Funfair we have more bouncy castles, like the Velcro Wall, Obstacle Course, and Bungee Run. Sports Centres, and the ever-popular Face-Painting, Cake Walk and Bake Sale. And that's not all!!
The FunFair will take place on Saturday, June 13th from 11-3.

Parent Council needs your help. We need more volunteers to continue to provide and do all the wonderful things we have come to love as a school.
Please consider joining our School Advisory Council. and/or a Committe. We meet monthly, we split the tasks between us all – many hands, light work – and we have a great time while we do it. Have questions? To talk with someone on Parent Council you can email us at annettestps@gmail.com
We have a STEM Committee, FunFair Committee, Parent Engagement Committee, Communications Committee, and an Eco-Group.
The School Library is a Long-term Contributor to your Child's education.
In a Library Learning Commons, a child can learn valuable skills.
For our Primary Students, signing out library books teaches responsibility.
Junior Students can collaborate and expand their creativity while using tools consistent with both a physical and virtual world.
Seniors develop confidence and a sense of responsibility in regard to their own learning.
The LLC drives future-oriented learning.
Just over 10% of the way there.
Thank you to all that have donated.
