Other Initiatives

A variety of other campaigns have been run on and off over the last few years. Here is a list of a few of the most recent initiatives that have been done to help our fundraising efforts.

Bags2School – Donate your old clothes and fabrics to this recycling initiative. Usually held once or twice a year, we collect all donations in the front foyer to be collected and recycled for cash! It’s a great way to clear out your old stuff and help support the school council.

Lunch Lady – Hot lunches for your kids at school. A portion of the cost goes back to School Council. If you’d like to have lunches made for your kids and support the council at the same time, this is a great initiative. Sign up is usually in the fall. See website here for more info and the current Lunch Lady contact.

Acorn Cards– A fantastic art fundraising project that gets your kids to create works of art that get turned into cards, or postcards, calendars, placemats you can purchase to support the council. This is a great fundraiser but requires parent volunteers to coordinate with teachers to set up the art projects in class.
